Hi, I'm Pip

Paediatric Speech-Language Pathologist | Owner, Pip Squeak Speech Pathology

I've been working with children and their families as a paediatric speech pathologist for over 10 years. In that time, one thing has always been clear to me: what happens between therapy sessions matters just as much as the sessions themselves. Parent-mediated practice is one of the most powerful tools we have for helping children develop communication skills — but only when parents feel confident and equipped to make it happen.

Then I had my own child, and everything I already knew professionally became deeply personal.

Suddenly I understood in a whole new way just how busy family life really is. How overwhelming it can feel to want to do everything right for your child, while also keeping the household running, getting to school pickups, and making it through the day. I wasn't just a clinician anymore — I was a parent trying to figure it out too.

ChatterPath grew out of that realisation. I wanted to create something that meets families where they are — using the toys already on the floor, the routines already in their day, and the moments that are already happening. No special equipment, no clinical jargon, no guilt. Just simple, evidence-based activities that fit into real life.

I'm passionate about the early years, play-based therapy, and the incredible difference that warm, everyday interactions can make for a child's communication development. I believe every parent already has what it takes — they just need a little guidance.

ChatterPath is that guidance.

Rooted in Evidence, Powered by Parents.

At ChatterPath, we believe every child is already communicating — sometimes in ways that look a little different, and that's okay.

Speech and language support isn't about changing who your child is. It's about understanding how they communicate, building on their strengths, and giving them the tools to connect with the world around them in ways that feel natural and achievable.

A neurodiversity-affirming approach sits at the heart of everything in ChatterPath. That means activities designed around your child's interests, their pace, and the way their brain works — not a checklist of skills they need to catch up on. It means following their lead in play, creating low-pressure opportunities for communication, and celebrating the moments of connection that happen every single day.

Because those moments matter. And you're already creating them.
